The Dallas Medical Resource Executive Committee, at its recent meeting,

unanimously voted to thank you for your service as Interim CEO at Parkland Health and Hospital System.

When you agreed to take on this assignment last fall, DMR’s Board of Trustees had great concerns about the leadership transition at Parkland and the stability of the organization during the transition period. It was assuring to have the Parkland Board of Managers select an experienced, well-known and seasoned hospital system executive to serve as the Interim CEO. In the face of a very difficult and challenging situation with many varying expectations, you have provided that leadership and served with dignity and tenaciousness.

We particularly appreciated your partnership with DMR as Co-Chair of the 1115 Waiver Work Group and your consistent concern for Parkland’s patients, employees and physicians.
